Security Operations in KP, Pakistan: 23 Militants and Seven Soldiers, Including a Captain, Killed


The Pakistani military's public relations department reported that security forces conducted three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday and Monday. These operations resulted in the death of 23 militants, while seven soldiers, including a captain, also lost their lives.


According to the ISPR statement, a clash in the Bagh area of Khyber district on Monday led to the deaths of a Pakistani army Naik, a Lance Naik, and three soldiers, along with seven militants.


On the same day, another operation in the Tank district resulted in the killing of ten militants, as per the military's claim. The third operation took place on Sunday in the Hassan Khel area of Peshawar, where six militants were killed, and a Pakistani army captain and a Havaldar were martyred.


The ISPR stated that a significant amount of weapons and ammunition were seized during these operations. The aim of these actions is to eradicate militancy from these regions.
